
Property Sales performs a variety of administrative functions relating to the disposal of property through the sale process:
Lands Branch administers exchanges, transfers, reservations, easements and the sale of Crown lands (including agricultural lands). Functions include application set-up; eligibility checks; circulation and review; preparing legal documentation and related correspondence; ensuring licensing requirements are met; initiating renewals; and requesting compliance checks. Other administrative functions include handling subdivision requests; updating of assessed values, plans of surveys ; discharge caveats; etc.
Land Acquisition Branch performs sale services including circulation, marketing, negotiating, preparing documents and other activities relating to the sale or lease of surplus government land and/or buildings and central management of records.
